The BLS for HCP Course teaches skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of an AED on adults and children, and relief of FBAO in responsive and non-responsive victims. AHA-094 BLS for HCP Renewal Course
This is a comprehensive course required by the AHA to renew any BLS license. The course covers updates to BLS guidelines as well as a refresher of BLS skills. Upon completion the student is given a current provider card.

AHA-110 Advanced Cardiac Life Support
The ACLS Provider Course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest. Providers are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: a respiratory emergency, four types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex VF/VT, PEA and asystole), four types of pre-arrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia and acute coronary syndromes) and stroke.
Pretest on CD in textbook must be completed and certificate brought to class. Call school for details.

The goal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is to provide the learner with:
Information needed to recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest information and strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children. The cognitive and psychomotor skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock or cardiopulmonary arrest.
